Sources Drain Field Pros Cites

This list is built from the same source lists that appear on each page, so it can't drift from what those lists cite. When a page adds or drops a source, this page changes with it. It covers the Sources lists described below. Links inside body text and links on our about, methodology and policy pages aren't included.

• Cost guides and calculators each carry a Sources list, shown with the month the figures were last reviewed. On cost guides it sits at the end of the guide; on calculators it's under “How this works.”
• State and county lookup results show their own source, with the date it was checked, under each result.
• Location pages end their FAQ section with a numbered Sources list for the local facts on that page, such as agency rules, permit offices, and weather or geology records. Not every location page has one yet.
• Homepage fact cards show their source under each card.

A source here supports a fact or a price range on the page that cites it. It isn't an endorsement of Drain Field Pros, and none of these publishers reviewed our pages. For how price ranges are chosen from these sources, and how estimates are labeled, see how we build our cost figures. For how pages are written and corrected, see our editorial policy.
