Septic and drain field installers: partner with Drain Field Pros
Drain Field Pros connects homeowners facing a failing leach field with one installer per county. Here is how those requests are produced, how territories are held, and how to apply.
The companies we want to hear from
We want licensed onsite wastewater installers who design or install drain fields, mound systems, chamber beds and replacement trenches, and who can coordinate the soil evaluation and permit that a replacement usually requires. Septic pumpers who also do field repairs, jetting or rejuvenation are welcome to apply for those jobs as well.
Drain Field Pros does not install anything. The site is a homeowner guide published by Cornelia Cove LLC in Albany, New York. We explain the warning signs of a failing field, what replacement involves and what drives the price, so that when an owner calls you they understand the job.
Where the homeowner requests come from
Owners find us while searching for soggy spots over the leach lines, sewage odor in the yard, slow drains that pumping did not fix, bright green stripes in the lawn or a failed septic inspection at a home sale. They read the failure-signs page, check the drain field checklist and use the replacement estimator, which prices the field by size and lets them add items such as a soil test, permit, mound fill or a new distribution box.
If they want an installer to look at the property, they submit the request form with their name, ZIP code, email, optional phone and notes. Their estimate range travels with the request. Nobody is added to a request without filling in the form themselves.
What a forwarded request contains
A person on our side checks each request before it goes out. You receive the contact details, the ZIP code, the owner's description of symptoms and history (for example when the tank was last pumped or whether the field was ever repaired), and the estimate lines they selected. Owners who mention a property sale, a health-department notice or sewage at the surface are flagged in the notes so you can prioritize them.
The homeowner is told plainly that an independent local installer may contact them. We do not claim you are our employee, and we do not promise owners any price on your behalf.
Territories: one installer per county, first come
Each county is held by a single installer. Drain field requests from ZIP codes inside your county go only to you; they are not resold or shared with a second company. Septic rules and soil conditions change at the county line, so we use counties rather than radius maps.
Counties are assigned in the order complete applications arrive. The first qualified installer to finish onboarding holds the territory. If someone already holds yours, ask to join the waiting list or to look at an adjoining county with no partner yet. We will not assign more counties than a company can realistically serve.
Standards we hold partners to
You need the installer license or registration your state and county require for onsite systems, plus liability insurance, and we may ask for copies. Quotes should be written and should separate the soil evaluation, permit, materials, excavation and restoration so the owner can compare them line by line. Respond to new requests promptly and tell us about any request that was invalid or outside your county.
If a pump-out, a baffle repair or a cleared line will solve the problem, say so. Our pages tell owners not every wet yard means a new field, and a partner who confirms that earns the trust we are trying to build.
Questions installers ask before applying
Will I get requests for systems I do not install, such as aerobic units or drip fields? Possibly. Tell us in your application which system types you design and install, and we will mention your limits when we review requests for your county. Do owners know a perc or soil test may be needed? Yes; our estimator includes it as an optional line and our replacement guide explains why the health department may require one. What if the property is on the line between two counties? We go by the ZIP code the owner enters and settle edge cases by hand with the partners involved.
Applying
Fill in the request form on this page and use the project details box for your company name, the counties you want, your license number and insurance carrier, and the system types you install. Applications are answered by email; we do not take calls.
Every partner agreement is set individually before any request is sent. We do not publish prices for partners, and we do not promise any number of requests. Demand varies by county, soil and season.
